After taking the oath, the members of the Supreme Judicial Council (CSM) met in plenary session in Ouagadougou on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to elect the President, Vice-Presidents and appoint the members of the First Disciplinary Chamber, the Appeal Chamber and the Appeals Chamber.
Under the leadership of CSM Permanent Secretary Paulin BAMBARA, the election results appointed Adama OUEDRAOGO as President and Dr. Baimanai Angelain PODA as Vice President, both for a three-year term.
It is noteworthy that the new President of the CSM is the Attorney General of the Court of Audit, while the Vice-President is a lawyer and Assistant Professor of Law. With these designations, the CSM is now operational.
