A fire broke out on a tourist boat off the Amazon Bay coast in Marmaris. Some people on board saw the flames and jumped into the water in panic. Others on board were rescued by nearby boats and the coast guard who came to rescue.
Four people were taken to hospital
39 people were evacuated from the burning boat and four people with burns were taken to shore and taken to hospital by ambulance.
The Aksaz Deniz AÜ command and the Coast Guard command group reportedly intervened on the burning vessel while cooling efforts continued.
