Hundreds of people have worked around the clock over the past few months to build the popular music venue in the north. In the presence of Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav and Dr. Ron Malka, Chairman of the Haifa Port Committee, the “pier” of Haifa Port was unveiled.
“The Terminal” will open to the public on Saturday evening in January 2006, and tickets for Ravid Plotnik’s first performance at the complex have already sold out. Later this month, artists such as Rami Fortis, Nega Erez and Mercedes Band, Avitar Banai, etc. will perform at the new complex.
The new complex will host concerts, music festivals, major sports broadcasts and other unique events and bring new cultural news to the city of Haifa and the northern region.
Yona Yahav, Mayor of Haifa: “I am very happy and excited about the opening of the new concert terminal, which is great news for all residents of the region. I am sure that the future waterfront project will contribute a lot to the city and its residents and position it as a leading tourist and cultural destination.”
“The Concert Marina project we are launching today is the result of extensive planning and investment. Adani-Gadot’s Haifa Port Company is committed to bringing the ‘Waterfront’ project from a dream to a reality,” added Dr. Ron Malka, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Haifa Port.
