St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Rain played a decisive role in the CWI Rising Stars Under-19 Boys 2-Day Championships on Friday, resulting in the cancellation of two of the three scheduled matches.
The Leeward Islands vs. Guyana match at the Park Hill Sports Ground and the Barbados vs. Trinidad and Tobago match at the Mount Sion Sports Ground were both interrupted due to weather conditions, resulting in both matches ending in draws.
The only cricket match on the second day was between the Windward Islands and Defending champion Jamaica in Arnosville. Despite the players’ efforts, rain was a constant threat, affecting the pace of play.
In the match between Guyana and the Leeward Islands, Guyana was leading by 27 points on Day 2. However, due to continued rain, the match could not be played. The scores at the end of Day 1 were as follows:
- Guyana U-19: 34.2 innings All Out 111 runs (Jonathan Van Lange 28, Rampetab Ramnos 22; Nathan Edward 5 21, Micah McKenzie 2 18, Matthew Miller 2 23)
- Leeward Islands U-19: 84-2 in 20 overs (Michael Palmer 24, Devanand Singh 22, Jewel Andrew 16)

Likewise, the match between Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago was abandoned on Day 2 due to a no-contest. At the end of Day 1, Barbados was leading by 149 points:

The only interesting match on the second day was between the Windward Islands and Jamaica at Arnosville. The Windward Islands led 27-0 after the first five innings and 44-0 in the ninth. The scores at the end of the second day were as follows:
