Kabul (Pajhwok): India has announced 1,000 scholarships for Afghan students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies in online mode in 2024-2025.
The scholarship is provided through the e-VidyaBharati (e-VB) web project (ilean portal) under the Special Scholarship Scheme for Afghan Nationals in Indian Central and State Universities/Colleges for the academic year commencing July 2024 (2024-2025 academic year).
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) said the scholarship scheme will offer courses in fields such as business administration, commerce, computer science, arts, etc.
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship by registering on the iLearn portal (www.iLearn.gov.in), which will be operational from July 18, 2024.
The deadline for accepting online applications is July 24, 2024.
