Winger Filippo Daugunu and power-hitter Rob Vallettini will start for Australia in their second Test against Wales in Melbourne on Saturday.

Daugunu will play on the left wing, while Vallettini will play as a blindside winger.

Another Fijian player, Waratahs No.8 Langi Gleeson has been added to the squad for Round 23 and will be on the bench.

Prop James Slipper will take over as captain.

Slipper captained the team as back-row player Liam Wright was unable to play due to injury.

This is the 35-year-old’s 15th time captaining Australia and he recently broke the record for most caps by a front-row player.

In Wright’s absence, Sleeper’s Brumbies team-mate Charlie Care played at number eight for the first time.

Kyle was one of seven players to make his debut in last week’s victory and his inclusion sees Vallettini play as a blindside winger, the same position he used for the Brumbies.

That was the only change in the starting lineup, as coach Joe Schmidt made several changes to the bench, led by a possible debut by Josh Nasser.

Nasser, son of former Kangaroos player Brendan, is a front-row replacement alongside Isaac Kailea and Allan Alaalatoa.

Gleeson has been named in the squad for his Wallabies debut in 2024 alongside Angus Blyth.

Western Force’s Nick White and Ben Donaldson complete the roster changes, forming an experienced bench tandem with Dylan Pitts.

To mark NAIDOC Week, the Australian Kangaroos will wear Aboriginal jerseys and the game will kick off at 9.45pm.

Wallabies (1-15): James Sleeper (C), Matt Fessler, Taniela Toupou, Jeremy Williams, Lukehan Sarakaya-Lotto, Rob Valletini, Fraser McCreight, Charlie Kyle, Jack Gordon, Noah Lolesio, Filippo Dauguni, Hunter Pasami, Josh Fluker, Andrew Kellaway, Tom Wright.

Subs – Josh Nasser, Isaac Kailea, Allan Alaalatoa, Angus Blyth, Langi Gleeson, Nic White, Ben Donaldson, Dylan Pietsch.
