President Gitanas Nauseda was sworn in for a second term during a solemn parliamentary session on Friday.

On March 11 at noon, Constitutional Court (CT) Chairman Gintaras Goda was sworn in at a festive inauguration ceremony at the Parliament Hall.

“I, Gitanas Nausėda, swear allegiance to the state to the Republic of Lithuania and the Constitution, to respect and enforce the laws, to protect the integrity of the Lithuanian land, I swear to perform my duties honestly and to treat everyone equally and fairly, I swear to strengthen Lithuania’s independence and serve the motherland, democracy, the well-being of the Lithuanian people May God help me!” G.
