A police patrol spotted a car on the city’s commercial street on Tuesday evening.

The car was parked on the side of the road with all four flashing lights on. When officers inspected the vehicle, they found that the steering and technical controls were not functioning properly. In addition, a breathalyzer test conducted on the driver was positive. A situation report has been written.

On Wednesday evening, patrol police detected a strong smell of alcohol when checking a vehicle on Glacis Street in the city, and the alcohol test result was positive. The vehicle’s technical inspection was also due here. The driver received a temporary driving ban.

Two other drunk drivers were noted for their driving style. Between Gréiwels and Kietscht, a car drove in a zigzag pattern and on the city’s Red Bridge, a driver drove at 86 km/h instead of the permitted maximum speed of 50 km/h. In both cases a report was written.
