Energy and Utilities Minister Joe Lesjongard said: Central Electricity Board Became a victim of Rs 13 million fraud.
Responding to a question from Opposition Whip Patrick Assirvaden on the George Power Station project in Les Salines, Minister Lesjongard revealed that the company selected to undertake the project will be a ghost company.
After an internal investigation European Commissionthe group identified itself as a victim of the scam. The case has been handed over to the police.
