— Iran sells caviar to 38 countries: IFO official
According to official statistics, Iran exported 4.784 tons of caviar to 38 countries in the Iranian year ending March 19, an increase of 37% from 3.5 tons in the previous year.
Nasir Karamirad, director general of the Iranian Fisheries Organization (IFO) for the enhancement and conservation of aquatic genetic resources, added in an interview with Iran Daily that Iran produced 4,760 tons of sturgeon meat and 21,612 tons of caviar last year.

Iran and Turkmenistan signed a gas swap agreement on Wednesday to supply 10 billion cubic meters of Turkmen gas to Iraq annually via Iran. Iran exported goods worth $3 billion to Iraq in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20), up 27 percent from $2.346 billion in the same period last year.
The news was announced by Farzad Pirtan, adviser to the chairman of Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, who said the main export commodities include natural gas, fresh apples and steel ingots.

A nano-profilometer designed and manufactured by experts from an Iranian company has been commercialized and exported to Turkey.
“Currently, we produce 3D optical profilers with nanometer (nano-profilometer) and micrometer (micro-profilometer) accuracy. The nano-profilometer version is fully commercialized and used in centers such as Zancan University and Gazi University in Turkey,” said Solmaz Bigdeli, the Iranian company’s commercial manager.

The 2024 Leiden University Ranking System ranks 46 Iranian universities among the top 1,506 universities in the world, ranking Iran first among Islamic countries in terms of the number of universities.
