Next year, the Macau Foundation (FM) will create three funding models for academic projects, community activities and exchanges, and will open applications on July 15. There is also a support plan for community activities, namely holding lectures, training activities, exhibitions or workshops related to the Macau community. A funding support plan will also be formulated for exchange activities with countries and regions such as the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
According to a statement from the FM, the funding will be awarded after candidates demonstrate a “high quality and rigorous” planned project that must “bring benefits to society”. In addition to criteria such as the “capacity and experience” that competing entities must possess, there must also be “budgetary justification”.
On July 11, the Science Center will hold an information session to allow interested parties to learn about the application and registration process. The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m.
