On July 6, the pop rock band Mahavok will open the five-week Tartu 2024 Autovryadases puistee, which will become a gathering and hangout place in the cultural capital. Despite the rainy weather, intensive preparations were carried out on the boulevard the night before to prepare it for its opening.

This time, in addition to the familiar room solutions from last year, the Boulevard will have even more opportunities for active recreation. Greater emphasis will be placed on the creation of sports opportunities. For example, you can get acquainted with games such as bocce, basketball, table tennis, spikeball, chess and checkers. Yoga mornings will be held in Central Park every Sunday.

Besides sports, you can just wander around the area and enjoy simple moments like eating lunch, reading in a hammock, or telling stories with friends.

“Our goal is to create an unforgettable experience for our visitors. We want everyone to find something here that they like,” said Project Manager Ave Kongo.

On July 6, the Tartu 2024 Autovryadases bouistee will kick off with the Emajõe Festival and the Estonian Rally event. During the day, those interested can explore the Emajõje Festival on the stretch of the river between Kaarsilla and Turuhoone. In the evening, it is worth going to the stage of the Autovryadas bouistee, where the legendary pop-rock band Mahavok will perform.

The Teen Zone starts as early as 3am with a giant bubble workshop, games and a photo booth where you can take pictures with your friends. The evening ends with a concert by boipepperoni and An-Marlen.

There is plenty to look forward to in the evening, including the night cinema in Emajø. The official after-party of the Autovryadases puistee or Eesti Ekspress Areen disco begins in the former Naiiv or now Sulps bar, where Siim Nestor and Kristopher Luigend recorded.

Autovriðas Avenue will feature attractions such as a water play area, a carousel, a climbing path, a ribbon forest, and street furniture from previous years will be reused. The food street will feature five food trucks, with menus also including vegetarian and locally sourced meals.

The Autovryadas Boulevard is open from July 6 to August 12. View the program here.
