A strange accident occurred in the Braginsky district. The GAZ-24 suddenly lost control, crossed the oncoming lane and stopped in the ditch, crashing into a reinforced concrete support. According to the local traffic police, the 68-year-old driver apparently died before the accident.
The State Transport Inspectorate is investigating the circumstances of the incident. Preliminary data indicate that right on the Komarin-Karlivka highway a Ukrainian citizen suffered a cardiac arrest.
It is understood that the man was visiting relatives in Belarus and was heading to a gas station. He was the only one in the car. There were no other cars or pedestrians nearby at the time.
