Maarja, who shared her artificial insemination experience, gave birth to another test-tube baby

Lily Charlize remains the youngest studio guest in the history of Ringvaate. A great tube baby, her arrival was reported by her mother Maarja Kivioja and herself in the collective media of Ergo. They knew they would never have children, but with the help of artificial insemination Maarja can now push two strollers.

“At first, Lily was scared when she first met her brother, but now she cares for him very much. She kisses him, caresses him and hugs him. She wants to do everything herself. “Her brother,” said her mother Marja.

Although the parents had to attempt artificial insemination several times on Lily’s behalf, they soon had their son. However, everything else didn’t go exactly as planned.

“I started feeling suspicious pains and I asked my previous midwife and she convinced me to get checked out. It started quite unexpectedly. A little over two months ago. You can’t expect something like this when you’re pregnant,” said Maarja, who gave birth at 30 weeks.

“It’s still scary, but if you already know what’s going on and it’s clear there’s no other option but to have the baby, then it’s OK because you’ve already accepted it,” the mother admitted, adding that she always has a good instinct.

The family stayed in the hospital for five weeks. “It was a very kind world. At first, everything was strange. The child was in the cubby for about two weeks. We worked with him from the first day, establishing skin-to-skin contact. We changed diapers and everything else that went through the cubby. We did not take him out of there in vain. “explains the mother.

While it can be scary at first to see a lot of wires attached to your child, it’s been a joy to be able to remove some of them over time. “With each little step — oh my god! — he’s got one less thing. He no longer has breathing, tubes, feeding straps, and then he’s finally a normal baby. You feel happy about the little things,” Maja said.

The almost two-month-old son is also quietly showing his character. “He wants cuddles and closeness. He is quite calm now and enjoying growing up. He needs a little walking and there are trials ahead, but at the same time it’s good because he is always under control. You will know if something goes wrong,” the mother said happily.
