Edgar Coker returns as new Tonga Airports CEO

Tonga Airports Limited (TAL) has announced the appointment of Mr Edgar Cocker as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 2 July 2024

Mr. Kok was previously Principal Secretary and Cabinet Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Acting Secretary General in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief Executive Officer of Lulu Thai Airlines Limited, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, and Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Tourism.

When Corker was Chief Secretary and Cabinet Secretary, we reported that he often Inappropriate behavior in public Especially under the influence of alcohol.

Tonga Airports is a state-owned enterprise that provides services to six airports in Tonga.
