An elderly woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a car in Rebuj on Wednesday morning.
Police said the accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. in Vjal il-Helsien.
The driver of the Peugeot 307 was a 20-year-old Syrian who also lived in Rebuj.
Magistrate Joe Mifsud is investigating.
