Founded by Mr. Seydou KEITA, a former international football player, Seydou Diogo Awa Agro-Industrial Complex (SDA) is a limited company located on 7 hectares in Sanankoroba, Koulikoro District. It brings together six industrial production units, including edible vegetable oil, oil cake and livestock feed production units, shea butter production units, soap production units and plastic can manufacturing units.
The SDA complex will create more than 400 permanent jobs and more than 10,000 indirect jobs, with an investment of 14 billion CFA francs. After the symbolic ribbon-cutting for this great industry, the Head of State, Colonel Assimi GOTA, visited the facilities of the SDA Agro-Industrial Complex.
At the end of the visit, the Transitional President gave a press interview, stressing the strategic importance of this industrial complex to the national economy. He also highlighted the many benefits that the complex will bring to the rural commune of Sanan Koroba, including job creation, professional training and stimulation of the local economy.
The Transitional President also stressed the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to ensure the success of this ambitious project. President Goita expressed special thanks to the initiator of the complex, Mr. Saidou Keita, former captain of the Mali Eagles, who believes that this patriotic act should inspire Malian youth.
