Malawi will receive the remains of its two beloved sons, legendary musician Lucius Banda and renowned broadcaster Hope Chisanu, tomorrow.
According to reports, the body of Lucius Banda is expected to arrive at Chileka Airport at 2:30pm, while the body of Hope Chisanu is expected to arrive at Kamuzu International Airport at 3:05pm.
Lucius Banda’s son Benson confirmed that the late musician’s body will be taken to Baraka where a church ceremony and funeral will be held.
It is hoped that Chisanu’s remains will be taken to the Mtunzi Funeral Home, where a series of events will be held to honour his life and legacy, including a viewing of the remains, a church service and a funeral at Ngodia in Kampata, where he will be laid to rest.
