Kuwait City, June 30: Authorities are working to identify a foreign national of unknown nationality who was admitted to Jahra Hospital a few days ago and subsequently died of a heart attack. Sources said that the hospital administration revealed that the deceased bypassed the hospital’s security checkpoint and entered the hospital directly. Further investigation revealed that the deceased used someone else’s passport to enter the hospital.
The source added that the owner of the passport used by the deceased will be summoned for investigation and may face charges including forgery. It is suspected that the deceased either violated the residency law or entered Kuwait on a visit visa. The source also pointed out that the death of the deceased occurred about two weeks ago and the forensic department has been ordered to confirm the identity of the deceased through fingerprint analysis so that necessary measures can be taken in the incident.
