On the other hand, the migration of experts in this field, like other fields, faces the challenge of a lack of skilled labor, which in turn creates problems for the maintenance and improvement of fiber-optic networks, which is particularly important considering the lack of investors and financial resource limitations, which blur the qualitative and quantitative development of fiber-optic networks.

Naferekar added: Although the cost of the initial stage (i.e. installation and commissioning) of using fiber optic services is more expensive than the previous traditional model, it is expected to be more expensive than the previous traditional model due to the better quality and speed of this type of Internet. The development of Internet based on fiber optics is also on the national agenda. Fiber optics is a golden opportunity for the Internet in Iran. He continued: Fiber optics is a special possibility for the development of smart cities and urban communications. The technology enables cities to provide Internet-based services, smart connections, traffic monitoring and smart energy systems. In summary, fiber optics plays a very important role in the discussion of the Internet and telecommunications and provides potential capabilities in improving the speed, quality and stability of communications. The expert explained: Most countries in the world have realized that with an eye on the future, in order to achieve growth and development in all aspects, serious consideration should be given to providing appropriate tools and structures in the field of digital economy, but the key point is that it is worth paying attention to the information on policy making in the field of science and technology, which is the most important component of economic development.
