The holiday season has begun, so it wouldn’t hurt to know a few Feng Shui tips for traveling…

Understanding how much our energy is tied to the environment in which we live or work, it is important to take care of our home or office according to Feng Shui principles.

But what happens if you decide to travel? How can different temporary residences maintain good feng shui?

Road space energy

Firstly, it is important to know that you influence the energy of your space as much as the energy of the space influences you. Therefore, it can be said that it is very important to take care of your inner Feng Shui, especially when you do not have the security of home energy to support and nourish you.

Good Feng Shui internally means maintaining good personal energy levels at all times, watching your thoughts and emotions, and always choosing to stay on the bright and “feeling” side of things.

Some places you are in may have very good energy, and some places may have very challenging feng shui. Hopefully, you will spend very little time in a room or home that has bad feng shui.

The first level of good feng shui is cleanliness on a physical level. You know, a truly clean space versus a space that looks clean but has dirt in the closet, basement, or under the bed… that’s not good because it doesn’t awaken the chi or the energy. So a physically clean space is the first obvious choice.

Cleaning and maintenance

If you have the option to rent a different space, definitely look for something clean and fresh rather than pretty decor.

Essential things for travel

Once you have a more or less clean base, you can always create good energy with some small “feng shui speed” travel items.

These things can help you clear your energy and keep good energy around you while you travel.

– A pair of small crystals is always a good idea when you are away from home. Clear quartz and rose quartz are good choices, as well as black tourmaline for protection or kyanite for balance. Don’t forget to cleanse your crystals from time to time. You can also keep crystals in your pocket as subtle jewelry/feng shui.

– Your favorite essential oils are always a great “feng shui quick fix” tool. Carry lavender oil with you for a refreshing feeling throughout the day. Lavender also has strong protective properties. Explore different essential oils to see which scents best stimulate your energy field.

– Burning incense or sage in any space is a good idea, but you may not have the opportunity to do so when traveling. However, even a spray or incense stick mixed with essential oils can quickly absorb negative energy from a room.

Stay safe and avoid bad spots by feeling the energy around you

Your apartment or hotel room may look very nice, but it may carry residual dangerous energy, which is bad feng shui. The only way to find out is to see how you feel during the first pitch – do you feel good or bad? Don’t let your mind distract you during the first few seconds, you will feel the hidden, not-so-obvious things about the feng shui of any space.

Then, of course, learn as much as you can about good Feng Shui basics before your trip, and you’ll soon know which places are better for you: from the energy of a place near water to the energy of a house near water dead ends

If you travel with your partner and care about maintaining the strength of your love relationship, it is always a good idea to take a small photo of your most interesting moments together, perhaps just photos from past trips. Photography can be part of your “feng shui” essential travel package and can help facilitate communication when needed.
