Kampot seaweed farmers complain of losing market after Vietnam suspends purchases

Seaweed growers in Prek Ampil village, Gongkor commune, Bokor city, Kampot province complained that brokers have suspended the purchase of dried seaweed from the Vietnamese. According to growers, this market problem has lasted for nearly a year, with prices falling from more than 4,000 riels per kilogram to 2,000 riels or even less than 2,000 riels.
