BOTASH shutdown and plant maintenance-April 2018
The company is looking for experienced and qualified technicians, craftsmen and semi-skilled craftsmen in the following industries:
1. Mechanical Assembler
2. Welder
3. Fabricator or boilermaker
4. Coded welder
5. Rigger
6. Electrician
7. Instrument mechanic
8. Mechanic
9. Painter
10. Supervisor
11. Maintenance Planner
12. Supervisors – (mechanical, assembly, electrical, rigging, boiler making, instrumentation)
13. Quantity Inspector-
(Mechanical, electrical, instrument)
Require
– O’level or equivalent and a recognised 4 years trade apprenticeship (Ncc) in any of the above trades
– 4 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a heavy industrial plant environment
– Experience in BOTASH major shutdowns will be an advantage.
For Supervisor and Quantity Inspector positions, candidates must possess at least NCC certificate and have at least 5 years of experience, 3 years of which must be in supervisory roles. Work stoppage experience will be an added advantage
For semi-skilled trades, applicants must hold at least a trade test C or B certificate and have at least 2 years of work experience
