After six years at the helm Metro Express Limited’s Das Mootanah has resigned as chief executive officer. He announced his resignation on his Facebook page last night, explaining that he had been offered an international opportunity and after careful consideration, he decided to opt for a new adventure.
He said he is proud of all the company has achieved since October 2019 till now.

After nearly six years at the helm of Metro Express Ltd (MEL), Das Mootanah has tendered his resignation. In a post on his Facebook page, the latter explained that he has accepted a new position abroad. He also explained that he is proud of what he has achieved at MEL over the past six years.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Metro Express staff, the Board, His Excellency Minister Ganou and His Excellency the Prime Minister for the trust they have shown in me over the past six years. Together we have made the Metro Express project a successful, internationally recognised venture. I am proud to have served the country and led many staff to successfully overcome many challenges. Of course, it is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to all those who worked day and night with me to make this project a success despite the many challenges,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
