Minister Evelyn said at a news conference at the Secretariat of Culture on Tuesday, June 25, that a large number of tourists are expected to come to Nevis for the 50th anniversary.day The Anniversary Celebrations Department and Committee have arranged a number of exciting activities for the festive period.
“I assure everyone who comes to Nevis that we have enough activities. This year is the 50th anniversary, this year is the homecoming, and we are very particular about the planning and organization of events to make sure that our events are rich, not just colorful. The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged people who have not yet booked accommodation and rental cars in Nevis for the upcoming festival to consider arranging accommodation in the sister island of St. Kitts. He also advised people to call the Ministry of Tourism or the Ministry of Culture for assistance in this regard.
