Over the weekend, military experts wrote that the aggressors once again carried out a joint strike against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Ukraine shot down 25 of 29 weapons (all 13 Shahd missiles, 7 of 10 Kh101/Kh555 missiles, all 4 Kalibr missiles and 1 of 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles).
Interestingly, “Shahed” already came from Balaklava, a different place from the usual in Crimea.
“Something must have gone wrong after the Ukrainian army launched an attack on their usual launch pad in Joda a few days ago,” they quipped.
The situation ahead. Kharkov direction
The Russians attacked KAB in a residential area of Kharkiv. There were civilian casualties.
Vovchansk. The Russians continue to attack the “no man’s land” between the hospital and the aggregate factory, trying to consolidate these positions. The Ukrainian defenders will not stand idly by and attack.
Lip. The aggressors used the KAB bomb for the second time, the FAB 3000 bomb. This is a serious problem not only for the Ukrainians here, but also in other areas of the front, because the Russians have a large number of Soviet bombs. The fundamental question is how many aircraft carriers (Su34) can carry such whales.
Returning to the sectoral issues, it is clear that the Ukrainian army must take seriously the problems posed by Russian aviation. Over the weekend, the occupiers organized up to seven raids here, during which 14 KABs (including the mentioned “FAB 3000” bombs) were launched. The destruction of the Russian Panzyr air defense system near Belgorod shows that Ukraine is struggling to cope with the above challenges.
Russia has fewer air defenses and less protection for its aircraft. Military experts hope that the time will come when their Su will collapse.
Luhansk direction
Kupyansk. The invaders are attacking the central (Stepova Novaselivka – Berestovė) and southern (Stelmahivka – Raihorodka) flanks. Russian aviation is also active – Tri-A bombers attacked Borovka, which is logistically very important for the Ukrainians.
Very fierce fighting is taking place in Seversk. Rozdolivka. The Ukrainian defenders were forced to leave several positions, but the fighting continues. Other parts are not sad either.
To Donetsk
Chasiv Yar. North side. The invader announced that he had reached the center of the village of Kalinivka. It was strange, because they had already announced more than once that they had captured this settlement … Fierce fighting continued, the Russians could not break through the canal.
Center. On the eastern edge of Chasiv Yar, Russian forces moved very slowly and hard in “no man’s land,” but they could not gain a foothold anywhere. The situation was changing rapidly, but while holding the area, Ukrainian forces did not retreat to the west bank of the canal.
South flank. The situation in the Toreko area was becoming increasingly complicated. The Russians expanded their positions near the settlement of Druzhba and captured the settlement of Shumai further south. Here were important high ground from which the occupiers could resist further advances to the west. That the Russians would indeed try to continue the advance was evident from the significant increase in their aviation power – KAB was attacked by Toreko.
The Russians cannot be excluded from developing success:

Pokrovsk-Vukhledar. North. Russian troops successfully advance to the vicinity of Sokil. Fighting continues along the contact line.
South wing. The Ukrainians held their positions at Krasnohorivka and Paraskevik in fierce fighting.
Directions to Zaporizhia
The Ukrainian troops attacked the occupiers of the Staromayosk and Robnya wedges. The invader also attacked whenever he found an opportunity, and his aviation was also active.
