Female witness Fatu Poe accused the murder of humans of being caused by evil spirits
The poet accused of killing her brother testified that an evil spirit encouraged him to commit the crime when she appeared in court on Monday, June 17 to answer murder charges.

In the past, the woman who became Figel’s lawyer asked the court for an order to prevent the media from publishing the trial’s case and Figel’s name.
However, Figuel expressed a different view in court on Monday, arguing that because he is a writer, there is no reason why his name should not be made public or published.
Figel’s former lawyer also requested that Figel not undergo a psychiatric examination but he did not respond to his allegations. However, Figel rejected the request and told the court that it was an evil spirit that prompted him to commit the crime.
He also requested the court to read out his verdict that day so that the soul of the deceased could be free.
A 68-year-old man was locked up in his department
On April 27, 2024, a man called the Tafuna Police Station and said he was assaulted by a 68-year-old man.

According to police records, the victim explained that the 68-year-old man grabbed her by the neck as they walked to an unknown house behind their home.
When police arrived, they met with the victim of the incident, who explained to police his surprise that he was on his way home when the defendant grabbed her by the neck and strangled her, and attempted to hit her with a pipe.
It was also mentioned that the accident was witnessed by a 17-year-old young woman.
After speaking with the victim, police went to the victim’s home, which was approximately 20 metres away, to look for the suspect.
When the police arrived, the old boy was sitting near his home, but when the police asked him what happened, the boy did not respond.
Police informed him that he would be taken to Tafuna Police Station for further investigation.
Police also examined the 17-year-old girl, whose testimony corroborated the victim’s account.
Police records also state that when the police tried to put the defendant in the police car, they smelled a strong odor of beer on the defendant. When they arrived at the police station, the defendant agreed to make a statement and answer questions from the police.
According to his statement, he mentioned that there was a permanent dispute between him and the victim because he did not help pay for the bike and that is why he was not allowed to use the bathroom again.
The old man also said he was too young to imagine the man’s explanations to him, asking him where to use the bathroom, or his mouth. Although he was unhappy about this, he did not touch the victim.
The older boy was charged with aggravated assault in the third degree, a class “A” misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in prison, a $1,000 fine, or both.
The defendant will be held on $1,000 bail pending trial.
