Tax reform was the most discussed topic after the last election. Our economist Magín Díaz responds to this question.
The first question: Since no economic sector is willing to make sacrifices: How should the government structure this tax reform?
Makin told questioners that restructuring tax reforms is not easy, clarifying that the government’s goal will be to reach the greatest possible consensus, but not all citizens will agree.
The economist said the consensus could be initiated through the Social and Economic Council, the same could be proposed directly to the main trade unions, or it could be decided to discuss it in Congress.
