Damascus (SANA) – For more than eight months, Israel has been carrying out a fierce daily attack on Gaza, destroying all ways of life and livelihoods, while killing or injuring more than 150,000 Palestinians.

They begin their letter with details of UN General Assembly Resolution 3379, adopted on November 10, 1975, which deemed Zionism a form of racism and a violation of the law and repealed it in 1991.
The letter states that “Israel” still refuses to accept UN resolutions, especially Resolution 181 of 1947 guaranteeing the right of return of Palestinians and Resolution 194 of 1948, in addition to rejecting a package of resolutions condemning racist practices and the denial of rights to Palestinian Arabs.
The letter highlights numerous humanitarian objectives and states: Today, more than two million Palestinians are suffering from an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and a brutal genocidal war that violates the rules of international humanitarian law.

He spoke of the growing awareness of the rights of the Palestinian state, with 143 countries recently voting to recognize its right to full membership in the United Nations.
