“I think our party is one of the most democratic in Estonia. Everything is clear and transparent!” said Andero Põllu, board member of the EKRE Lääne-Virumaa district, proudly waving the party flag on his shoulders. From his silver sunglasses, you can see someone filming the conversation between the journalist and the party members.

Even when reporters asked Evelin Poolamets, who later became deputy chair of the party, and Merliin Grauberg-Riisenberg, head of EKRE Finland, for their impressions, the mysterious photographer kept following. Why the curious photographer captured everything is anyone’s guess.

At the EKRE congress held in Yokhvi on Sunday, the party members’ nerves were visibly relaxed, but their minds were alert. At the event, a total of four security guards patrolled the area, but they seemed powerless.

Party members have already drawn some conclusions from the mass exodus that began on Tuesday.
