MEMPHIS, Tenn. (LPL) — Kendrick Ray and Lorenzo Watson were arrested for shooting at pedestrians and police officers during a traffic dispute on Interstate 240.
According to the authorities’ report, the incident began at the Moriah Hill vehicle entrance on State Highway 385 when the victim’s car attempted to merge into traffic but the person driving the stolen vehicle, who has now been arrested, did not allow them to enter traffic.
When the driver complained to the suspect about their rude driving, the suspect approached the occupants and shot them with a rifle.
Police later found the shooting suspects near the Wolfchase Galleria shopping center and pursued them until they crashed the stolen vehicle they were driving and captured them as they were about to flee the scene.
Both men face multiple criminal charges.
