Coach Tite will use the next two games of Corinthians against Capivariano and Sao Paulo to observe the reinforcements he has acquired so far. Next Wednesday, he will interrupt the test and finally put on the field the formation that he thinks is most suitable for the team. The first match of the Libertadores in Group 8 will be against Cobresal in Chile.

“The answer is yes,” confirmed Tite, who will rest some of his usual starters at the start of the season in the Liga Paulista, citing the risk of injuries ahead of the Libertadores.

Out of respect for those he had worked with the longest, and also to curb animosity within the squad, the coach began the new year with the squad he would have used in 2015. However, as is normal, many of the remnants of the demolition suffered by Corinthians lost space for those who were hired.

For example, veteran midfielder Danilo can hardly continue to play as a center forward in the competition with center forwards such as Andre. Malone should take advantage of Luka’s poor performance on the left to gain a foothold.

Guilherme and Giovanni Augusto, the reinforcements that came to make up for the departure of Renato Augusto and Jadson to China, had more difficulty in the starting lineup against Cobresal. Rodriginho and Angel Romero, who competed with them for a place, are rising with Tite.

“We will be patient with those who arrive. I know they will make more mistakes. The adjustments in the creative process will be more difficult. The coach will not create too high expectations”, promises the commander from Rio Grande do Sul, who is also studying the possibility of exchanging Bruno Henrique for Willian in the future.
