Catalan newspaper Sports has said that Deco is disappointed with Barcelona’s financial situation and is considering leaving.
Barcelona have categorically denied reports that Deco is leaving the Catalan club.
In an official statement, Barcelona said: “FC Barcelona categorically denies the information that appeared in the digital edition of Sport on September 1, with the title (Deco, disappointed, considers his future).
The statement added: “The club confirms that it is very happy with Deco’s work and rejects this information.”
After the European summer market ended, Barcelona only signed one player, Dani Olmo, from RB Leipzig.
