Ziza Bafana recently shared his confusion and disappointment over his treatment by the President of the Uganda National Musicians’ Federation (UNMF), Eddy Kenzo.

According to Bafana, he tried to contact Kenzo several times after leaving the league but was met with silence, which made him feel ignored and frustrated.

Bafana explained that when UNMF was first formed by Kenzo and other well-known musicians, he was one of the many artists who joined and participated in the early meetings and planning sessions of the union.

However, after receiving the financial allocation to the members, Bafana decided to leave the federation. Although he left, he was unhappy with the amount of funds he received, believing it was not enough and wanted more.

Bafana contacted Kenzo to resolve the issue but received no response.

“I tried to contact Kenzo for financial support but he ignored me. I hope the league can provide more funds.” He also mentioned that some people suggested that he return the money he initially received, but he rejected the idea, claiming that he had no intention of doing so and wanted more funds instead.
