In the capital Ankara, events will begin at Anitkabir, the burial site of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, and will also be attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will hold the event at the presidential palace.

The events in the capital Ankara will begin with a visit to Anitkabir by members of the government led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at 10:30 a.m. Turkish time.

After the pilgrimage, President Erdogan will be congratulated at the Presidential Palace at 11:30 a.m. Turkish time.

The events will continue with a parade from the Parliament to the First Knesset. Concerts by the Mehteran Band and mixed music groups will be held before the Parliament assembly ceremony. The Turkish Star Band will also perform and accompany the parade ceremony.

As part of the ceremony, President Erdogan will attend the Military Academy graduation ceremony at 17:00 Turkish time.

On August 30, the Presidential Palace will hold an event to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of Victory Day.

President Erdogan will address those participating in the program.

The main building of the Presidential Palace will be lit up in red and white.

Victory Day on August 30 will be celebrated not only in the capital Ankara, but also in the country’s 81 provinces under the leadership of local governors.
