I have been to the Peter Lougheed Centre Day Surgery twice this year. Both times I met wonderful people. From admission to Ward 22, the surgeons, A&E and recovery the staff were delightful. Efficient, supportive and very personal. This despite the terrible support from the Government and AHS. Thank you so much for your professionalism and dedication.

Let Calgarians understand, Mayor Gondek, that your and City’s incompetence is not our fault. Your primary responsibility is to manage day to day operations, not to travel to the middle of nowhere to pad your resume or to brag about your so called arrogance to us minions. Let the heads of City departments advise Calgarians on plumbing issues, not someone who has no idea what she is talking about!

Trudeau is a miniature of Singh
Read the article where Justin Trudeau ordered binding arbitration on the rail strike (“Surrendering to ‘greed'”, The Canadian Press, August 23). Jagmeet Singh, who has the power to force an election, was not pleased. He said Trudeau was cowardly for doing so. Really? This man needs to look in the mirror and see not only his own reflection but Justin’s. The only reason he didn’t force an election is because he knew he wouldn’t win his riding either, which would mean no golden pension – a sign of cowardice.
Todd Keller
(Singh has the best of both worlds — he can pretend to be angry at Trudeau while staying in office until his pension is fully paid. He has no reason to stop supporting Trudeau, and a million reasons to continue supporting him.)
Lessons Learned
Our PM made a statement that the country still wants him to stay in the country, which is a lie. I have seen his family mess up the country for the second time. When will we have a responsible government instead of a bunch of pension beggars. We know now that like father, like son.

(We didn’t learn our lesson the first time, but we still have about a year to fix it)
