The “wise men” of the entire Constitutional Council
The President of the Constitutional Council, Barthélemy Kéré, recorded their oath and sent them to their duties, while also asking them to take responsibility. “You must remember your oath. Violating it will subject you to sanctions. May all our wishes for success be with you,” said Mr. Kéré. He revealed that this solemn swearing-in hearing of the verification assistants was the first of its kind for the Constitutional Council. “You can say that you are the pioneers of this mission within the ASCE-LC, asked to lay the foundations for this activity,” he warned.
The President of the Constitutional Council said that this legal commitment is also a moral one. Therefore, they must demonstrate impeccable ethics and a high sense of public service. Moreover, the values they embody will guide our country towards a government that is fairer, more efficient, more honest and more respectful of the interests of citizens.
In any case, the Deputy State Auditor General, Urbain Yaméogo, is very happy that the human resources capacity of the ASCE-LC has been strengthened. “As you know, there are a lot of expectations and we need people to carry out the fight against corruption. We have audit and internal control missions to improve performance and good governance. We really missed it. This contribution today will be of great benefit to us. The blockage depends only on the number of people, which really makes the difference.
