A tourist was thrown from his motorbike and walked through the streets of Bali wrapped from head to toe in bandages after returning from an exciting trip around the world. Asia then.
Marine engineer James Marsland was cycling on a resort in Indonesia when his phone fell out of his pocket.
He instinctively reached for it, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed onto the asphalt.
Last week, a video of Mr Maslan walking down the streets of Canggu went viral, showing the young man with bandages on his feet, knees, arms and face.

They said: “He was riding slowly and wearing a helmet, which would have been more dangerous if he were on a bicycle.”
“It was just an accident. There was nothing dangerous or stupid about it, he just ran straight onto the asphalt.”
“Maybe this is a fun way to remind people how dangerous cycling can be and to always be careful on the road.”
It is understood Mr Maslan, from the UK, had been posting pictures of his adventurous holidays in Asia online before the accident.
In May, he traveled to Thailand and completed an advanced scuba diving course.
He shared several photos from the experience, including ones he took underwater with other divers.

Mr Maslan is from the UK and has travelled across Asia, including visiting Thailand and the Maldives.
He also shared photos of night markets and island hopping around the country.
In March this year, Mr Maslan also travelled to the Maldives, where he snorkelled with nurse sharks and went water skiing.
When the video of the British man covered in bandages first circulated, many people joked that Mr Maslan looked like a “mummy”.
One person commented: “Bali kiss to the next level. Mummy. Luckily it’s still intact. Unbelievable!”
“Bali kiss” is the name used by tourists when they fall off their motorbikes or scooters on the resort island.
One person commented: “If you’ve been to Bali you’ll find this quite funny because you’ll see a bunch of white people with bandages all over their bodies and you know it’s from a motorbike accident.”

Mr Maslan was seen walking cautiously down the street after the accident.
His arms were covered in bandages and he also suffered injuries to his chin, nose and left eyebrow.
His hands and fingers were also bandaged.
The video poster said he had contacted the tourist and explained that he was not acting recklessly while riding his motorbike – his phone fell off the motorcycle and when he instinctively went to pick it up, he fell.
