ABU Secretary General pays courtesy visit to Vietnam Broadcasting Corporation in Hanoi
Mr Ahmed Nadeem, Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), recently visited major broadcasters in Hanoi, including Vietnam Television (VTV), Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Vietnam National Assembly Television. At VTV, he was warmly received by Mr Dinh Darong, Vice President of VTV, and discussed opportunities for enhanced cooperation. The visit also included a visit to VTV headquarters, with a focus on strategic partnerships.
At the headquarters of VRT, Nadim met with VRT Vice Chairman Ngo Minh Hien. The two sides exchanged views on important initiatives and pledged to strengthen bilateral relations and share best practices in the field of radio and television.
Mr. Nadeem met with Mr. Le Quang Minh, General Manager of Vietnam National Assembly TV. Discussions focused on promoting cooperation and strengthening the channel’s contribution to ABU. Vietnam National Assembly TV expressed its desire to provide more content related to the National Assembly and use ABU as a platform for program exchange and cooperation.
