Olympic champion in single skating Alina Zagitova admitted that she sang a song from the soundtrack at the premiere of her program “Guardians of Time”. She was quoted by RIA Novosti.
“Of course, I didn’t sing live. My voice was completely broken because it was in cold weather during the rehearsals. In the stadium, I want to assure you that professional artists do not sing live,” said the figure skater.
On June 19, the figure skater defended her thesis. She received excellent grades in the diploma on the topic “Production and Cultural Policy”.
Zagitova describes ideal marriage conditions
Zagitova became the 2018 Olympic champion. In addition to the Olympic gold medal, the athlete also won the gold medal of the 2019 World Championships and the gold and silver medals of the 2018 and 2019 European Championships. Zagitova is the only single figure skater in the history of Russia and the second person in the history of the world to win all the world figure skating championships after Kim Young-ah. She suspended her career in 2019, but never announced the end.
After pausing her professional career, Zagitova hosted the show “Ice Age” together with Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin.
