Ashvind Angnoo died two months later

The 46-year-old father, a resident of Roches-Noires, lost his battle with death on Tuesday. Ashvind Angnoo, better known as Roshan, had been hospitalized for more than two months following the accident on June 16 in Plaine-des-Roches, where he allegedly slipped while riding his motorcycle. He died on Tuesday morning. An autopsy conducted by police forensic pathologist Dr. Prem Chamane attributed his death to sepsis.

He was returning from a wedding when the tragedy occurred. His brother Satish said he had gone to a wedding in Petite-Retraite to help with cooking. On his way home, he met with an accident. When the police reached the spot, the victim had been placed in a SAMU vehicle and was on his way to Flak Hospital. As he was unable to blow into the breathalyser, a blood sample was collected. The injured man was then taken to Northern Hospital for scans and later underwent surgery in Kandos.

Roshan’s relatives are asking. “Would he have had a better chance of survival if he had had surgery earlier? We don’t know, but the doctors also told us that surgery carries certain risks.”, confided his brother Satish. Roshan worked as a general worker in the Department of Agro-Industries. “He was serious and hardworking. He was also active in the social sphere. He was so lonely. He was so lonely that he was alone.”he added. Roshan Angnoo’s funeral was held yesterday.
