Gerald Alexander Rhaburn, aka Lord Rhaburn, is recovering at home after being injured in a hit-and-run incident last Thursday. The 88-year-old legendary musician was taken to Carl Hosner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) with a cut nose and bleeding from his right ear. We attempted to contact him earlier today but were told he was no longer available for media interviews. The Calypso King Rhaburn took a taxi from the Tropicana at Newtown Barracks to his home on Coney Avenue around 11pm on Thursday. Upon arriving at his doorstep, Rhaburn exited his gold Honda Odyssey van when a car speeding past him towards Buttonwood Bay. The car struck Rhaburn, damaging the van’s door, but did not stop to assist. The taxi driver, 30-year-old Brandon Tillett, took Rhaburn to hospital where he was treated and released. Love News understands police are yet to locate the vehicle and driver involved in the hit-and-run.
