Kerema Open Member of Parliament and Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Thomas Opa, has announced that health infrastructure for the Tolipi people in Kerema East Local Government Area has been completed.
Minister Opah said: “The completed health infrastructure will serve as an outpatient ward at Uritei village in Tolipi area of Kerema East Local Government District in Kerema District.”
The first-term councillor said the contractor will hand over the keys to those in charge by the end of this month.
The building is powered by solar energy and also features water tanks, as shown in the picture.
Minister Opa assured his people that District Service Improvement Programme (DSIP) funds will be used to ensure that basic health and education services reach the rural majority.
