Hashnet:
At least six people were shot dead by Israel in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced, while the Israeli army said it was carrying out a raid to locate the gunmen.
The Israeli military said the four dead were armed and fell in an exchange of fire with soldiers in the village of Kafdan near the Palestinian city of Jenin.
A video clip circulating on social media platforms, which Reuters could not verify its authenticity, showed an unarmed man lying injured on the road, screaming for an ambulance before being shot in the thigh.
The clip was filmed with a mobile phone from high up and far away through a window.
Violence in the West Bank was already high before the Gaza war, due to repeated Israeli military raids on armed factions and attacks on Palestinian villages by Jewish settlers.
The West Bank and Gaza Strip are lands where Palestinians seek an independent state, which Israel captured in the 1967 war.
U.S.-brokered peace talks collapsed a decade ago.
