According to Japan’s NHK TV channel, the Japanese Ministry of Defense reported that a Y-9 military aircraft belonging to the Chinese military entered Japanese airspace near the Tanshang Islands in the East China Sea at 11:29 local time yesterday.

The statement stressed that the plane stayed in Japanese airspace for about 2 minutes.

It is recalled that after the military aircraft issued a signal for an appropriate response, the Chinese-owned aircraft left the Japanese airspace.

Japan’s Ministry of Defense revealed for the first time that it is trying to understand China’s intentions in invading Japanese airspace.
