On August 27, at a meeting of the Republic’s Education Committee, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko instructed to send schoolchildren to production in order to “restore labor practice.”
“Think about how we can restore working practices to school children. Let them see how much the actual production field has advanced today based on modern technology. Let them see the experts who work there and talk to them,” Transmitted Words of the head of state – BelTA.
Lukashenko said it would be “the best career guidance” when students inspect the working conditions, technology and equipment of enterprises.
Earlier, Telegraf.news reported that at the same Republican Education Committee, the president announced the “restoration of order in Belarusian universities,” which, according to the head of state, will include visits by Lukashenko to the country’s universities. “I will tell you that this is only the beginning, and no one can sit idly by,” he said.
We also wrote that Belarusian Forestry Minister Alexander Kulik ordered at a meeting of the department’s employees on August 6 to involve students and schoolchildren in the restoration of the windfall forests. To this end, they are planning a “large-scale operation” in the fall.
“The numbers are huge and this has to be understood, especially for individual regions and forestry companies,” Kulik noted at the time.
