A Miami-Dade County woman and her former live-in partner are dead following a domestic dispute. Miami-Dade Police Department The Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting.
According to investigators, police were dispatched to the scene on reports of a person being shot. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male, later identified as Marcos Antonio Gonzalezhe, and an adult female, identified as Raiza Cajuso, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene, and both Gonzalezhe and Cajuso were pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations showed that Gonzalezhe and Cajuso had an argument, after which Gonzalezhe pulled out a gun and shot Cajuso, then shot himself, and then a violent conflict broke out between the two sides. The investigation showed that the victim and the suspect were in a cohabiting relationship and had a child together. However, at the time of the incident, they had separated and did not live together.
