Abel Thésée ranks Morris 14th in the world

Mauritius represented the World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) for the first time at the 45th World Armwrestling Championships in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, and as promised, paved the way for Mauritian armwrestlers. Last weekend, Abel Thésée competed in the -100 kg category in both right and left arm, ultimately finishing 14th in the world in right arm out of 26 competitors.

A few days before the competition, our compatriot arrived in Moldova alone, joined 1,500 competitors from about 60 countries, and appeared as one of the little fingers in this global event that brought together the best satirists in the world. What’s more, his -100 kg category was very difficult, as it was attended by experienced players, such as the reigning world champion in the right arm Yesbolat Karzhau from Kazakhstan.
