Consider the internal regulations of the High Commissioner for Communications
Considering that LCI TV channel will broadcast the program on July 27, 2024
Titled: Wagner’s tragic murder in Mali: The hand of Kyiv with LCI Military Advisor Colonel Michel Goya Guest: Taking into account that during this visit a number of violations of legal and regulatory provisions were discovered, in particular the provisions of article 39 of Law n’00-046 of July 7, 2000 establishing the system and the press and press crime, as well as article 2 of Law n’2012-019 of March 12, 2012 concerning private audiovisual communications services:
Considering that Colonel Goya has been destroying all kinds of slander, baseless slander and false accusations throughout the broadcast
Considering that some of the guest’s remarks amounted to an apology for terrorism and incitement to destabilization
Considering that terrorism is condemned by the United Nations and all its member states
Taking into account the deliberations of the HAC Members Group on 22 August 2024.
Decide:
Article 1: Within two (02) months from the date of signing of this Decision, the LCI Television service will be removed from the packages of all authorized distributors of sound or television broadcasting services in Mali.
Article 2: The National High Transport Authority and all other technical authorities shall be responsible for the implementation of these regulations.
Article 3: This decision will be notified when necessary.
