On Friday evening, Luxembourg City police carried out a large-scale inspection operation aimed at identifying drivers of illegally modified vehicles.

During the operation, the police checked 20 cars and 3 motorcycles. The inspection results showed that 5 vehicles had problems with the exhaust system and 2 vehicles were too low. In 6 cases, the police found problems with the vehicle lighting, such as black headlight glass.

A dozen police officers were involved in the inspection, and they also issued tickets to four motorists and a motorcycle driver for a number of other violations, including not wearing helmets. One car was impounded and 10 others were taken away for further inspection.
